Top Ten Tuesday | Favorite Books of 2017

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is: Top Ten Favorite Books of 2017!

As of right now I’ve read 58 books, which is better than last year, but I still want to read a few more before the year ends. Even though I read quite a few books, there weren’t that many that really stuck out to me which is disappointing but hey, what can we do? Hopefully these last few weeks will be filled with excellent reads! Without further ado, here are my favorite books of 2017 (so far)!

Top 5 Wednesday | Non-Horror Books that Scared Me

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey and Samantha. You get a new topic every Wednesday, and you list your top 5 books related to the particular topic. This weeks topic is: Non-Horror Books that Scared You – This can be entire books you found frightening or just specific scenes from those books, but discuss books that weren’t technically supposed to scare you, but did.

P.S. I’m taking this topic in a slightly different direction.

Burn, Rewrite or Reread Book Tag

Bonjour mes amis! Comment ça va?

Today I have the Burn, Rewrite or Reread book tag, which was officially made by Lauren Ann over at Youtube (video here). I was tagged by the lovely Dorka over at Berries and Books! Make sure to go check out her blog because it is amazing! The rules for this tag are pretty simple. First, write down a couple of books and pick out three. Then, choose which one you’d burn, which one you’d rewrite and which you’d reread. And that’s about it. So without further ado, let’s get started!

Top Ten Tuesday | Books That Broke My Heart

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish. Top Ten Tuesday is currently taking a break until August 15th so since there is no official topic, I’ve decided to go through previous topics and pick some of my favorites. For this week I chose: books that broke my heart!

Playlist | A Conjuring of Light

Bonjour mes amis!

Today I bring you guys a playlist I made for one of my favorite books of all time! If you didn’t know, I listen to music while I read because it helps me zone everything out and concentrate on reading. Kind of weird, I know, but it works for me. I tried to pick songs that represent the book as a whole and as well as some that go with a particular scene, character, etc. It’s not perfect by any means but I’m satisfied, for now, with the songs and the flow from one song to the next!
