OMG This Song Book Tag

Bonjour mes amis! Comment ça va?

I have a tag for you guys today and I am SOOOOO excited for it. I was searching the almighty, Internet, for book tags (as if I don’t already have a million tags to do) when I came across the OMG This Song Book Tag. It was created by the lovely Kate over at Katesbookdate and all you have to do is answer the questions/prompts with a book and a song. Now, I’ve decided to do 2 songs per prompt because I just couldn’t help myself. There couldn’t be a more perfect book tag for me tbh, so without further ado, let’s get started!

Top Ten Tuesday | Hidden Gem Books in Sci-fi & Fantasy

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is: Ten Hidden Gem Books in X Genre: Pick a genre and share with us some books that have gone under the radar in that genre!

As you can see from the title, I chose to do both sci-fi and fantasy. The main reason why is because I couldn’t find enough books for just one genre. I decided to do both because they are great genres on their own but also because I found a handful of books that have elements from both genres. With the exception of two books, I picked these up when I first started getting into reading so I may not feel the same way about them if I were to read them now but at the time, I loved them and definitely consider them to be hidden gems! So, without further ado, let’s see which books I chose!

Top 5 Wednesday | Books From Before I Joined Twitter

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme created by Lainey and Samantha. You get a new topic every Wednesday, and you list your top 5 books related to the particular topic. This weeks topic is: Books from Before You Joined ________ – These are some of your favorite books from before you joined the online book community, whether that be booktube, goodreads, blogs, bookstagram, twitter, tumblr, etc.

I joined the online book community (via twitter) on October of last year and it was the best decision of my life. Not only have I met soooo many amazing people but I’ve also gotten a lot of book recommendations. I mean, what more could a person ask for?! I may have been late to the book community party but that didn’t stop me from reading some pretty fantastic books before joining!
