Books with Spooky Beings

Bonjour mes amis! Comment ça va?

So Halloween is just a couple of days away and I am so ready to get my spook on! To celebrate this grave occasion, Jessica over at Reading With Jessica came up with the Haunted Halloween Hop. There are 10 of us participating and we’ll be spreading our posts over 10 days from the 22nd to the 31st, so make sure you check out them out! Each post will be Halloween themed so be prepared for some RIPeting reads! My post is all about books that feature creatures/beings that are spooky and often associated with Halloween (e.g. vampires, necromancers, ghosts, etc.)!

Top Ten Tuesday | Hidden Gem Books in Sci-fi & Fantasy

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is: Ten Hidden Gem Books in X Genre: Pick a genre and share with us some books that have gone under the radar in that genre!

As you can see from the title, I chose to do both sci-fi and fantasy. The main reason why is because I couldn’t find enough books for just one genre. I decided to do both because they are great genres on their own but also because I found a handful of books that have elements from both genres. With the exception of two books, I picked these up when I first started getting into reading so I may not feel the same way about them if I were to read them now but at the time, I loved them and definitely consider them to be hidden gems! So, without further ado, let’s see which books I chose!

I think what helped was having the readathon so I’m definitely going to participate in more of them in the future! Without further ado, here are the books I got through in July!

Here’s my initial BookTube-A-Thon post if you’re wondering what books I had planned to read but wasn’t able to get around to. I had so much fun and I hope to participate next year!
